   What is a STaC?

A STaC is a Sectional Tournament, but it is held at many different sites throughout our District.  "STaC" Stands for 'Sectional Tournament at Clubs.

All games held in the same time session can included in the same event (the game must be open and have at least 5 tables to be in the main event). Since there are usually several sites, the results will be based on many tables, instead of just a few. Also, because the game is sectionally rated, the number of masterpoints per table is higher than in a regular club game.

The highest percentage in each stratification wins. But ALL points, even at the club level, are silver points.

There is a small extra charge for playing in a STaC, usually $1.50 per person.
